Teaching Hooks Kent
We are creating a Kent-specific version of Teaching Hooks, in partnership with Kent Photo Stories, and would like help from Kent and Medway's community of photographers. Whether you are an experienced professional, keen hobbyist, student, or just someone who has captured a great photograph, we would love to receive images from you!
Bubble & Scruff provides Teaching Hooks as a free resource for schools across the world, and Teaching Hooks Kent will be promoted to teachers and senior leaders in schools across Kent from September 2021.
During the various lockdown restrictions over the past twelve months, you will have been out and about visiting the landscapes, coast, parks and gardens across our county; exploring your local area; and photographed beautiful places, the natural world and the hidden gems. What better way to celebrate all that our county has to see than providing thought-provoking imagery to the younger generation of Kent and Medway residents.
We are keen to secure images that spark children’s imagination and offer the opportunity to be creative... remodelling landscapes into galactic worlds, placing objects into significant moments in time, or turning streets into fairytale scenes with a modern twist. Photographs should be in the style of Landscape / Street / Architectural / Macro photography and possibly a few Wildlife, however no people or pets to be within the images.
* Please upload a hi-res digital jpg image, in landscape orientation and at least 1200px on the longest length.
** By submitting an image, the photographer will grant permission to Bubble & Scruff to reproduce any portion of the photo image for any legal purpose of Teaching Hooks, without any compensation given to the photographer. Bubble & Scruff agrees to include a credit line alongside the submitted image on www.teachinghooks.com.
